Young Partners G4 Tour the Sites of Ohio

The P2K Young Partners Group 4 have had a fun filled week together seeing the sites of Ohio and beyond. Last week the group volunteered at the JCC camps and did a pluralism tour of Jewish Columbus. The group met with Or Mars at the Wexner Foundation to discuss and learn about pluralism, and then they proceeded on a tour of Temple Beth Shalom, Congregation Tifereth Israel and Congregation Ahahas Sholom where some of the Columbus P2K members invited peers into their congregations to meet their Rabbis.

The Young Partners G4 also visited Cedar Point, Cleveland, Niagara Falls and Hocking Hills all this week.  Each day was jam packed, as in Cleveland they toured the Maltz Jewish Museum, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, ate at the kosher Subway and attended an Indians game all in one day.  In the Hocking Hills, their stay started with a thunderstorm power outage (welcome to Ohio) but that was only the beginning of the adventure, as there were numerous activites planned included a giant zipline. This last week of the trip, Young Partners G4 visited the Underground Railroad Museum, the Newport Aquarium and had lunch in a kosher Indian restaurant in Cincinnati.
